Dr. Alisa Johnson, a Tuscaloosa native, pursued her Master's in Public Health at the University of Alabama before attending the UAB School of Medicine. She undertook her residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, achieving board certification in Emergency Medicine for both Alabama and Mississippi. Dr. Johnson's personal life revolves around her four children, enjoying family time at the lake and cheering them on in soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, and horse riding. Her professional life is marked by a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
Dr NIKKI CHRISTENSEN

Dr. Christensen has been in practice for over 20 years. Since graduating from UA School of Medicine and completing her Family Medicine residency, her career has consisted primarily of Emergency medicine with some Family Practice and Urgent Care. She has found a new passion in aesthetics over the last three years and absolutely loves it!
She is associated with multiple med spas in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, treating clients in both areas.
She makes you feel comfortable, providing treatment options, with attainable expectations. She has a way of helping each client develop a personalized treatment plan, which they understand, and are confident with.
Dr. Christensen currently lives in Tuscaloosa with her husband and four children, with a married son and engaged daughter in North AL. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, sporting events, and concerts, exercise and as much travel as she can!
DR JIM SANDRAS
DOCTOR OF DENTISTRY- BOTOX-DERMAFILLER
Dr. Jim P. Sandras was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1982 he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Louisiana, and then in 1986 received his Doctor of Dentistry degree from the LSU Medical Center. The following year he opened his first practice in New Orleans. Then in 1992 he opened a second practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he eventually moved. Following it's complete destruction in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina, he moved his family to Tuscaloosa and opened Lakeside Dental in 2007. In 2012 Dr. Sandras was trained and certified by the medical specialists at Allergan to administer Botox and dermal fillers. He then successfully incorporated these cosmetic procedures into his dental practice. And in 2020 Lakeside Dental was voted the best dental practice in Tuscaloosa County by The Tuscaloosa News.

Jasmine Hudson is a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) graduate of the University of South Alabama specializing in Family Practice. She has dedicated over 6 years to the medical community delivering safe, patient-centered care. She prides herself on building strong, trusting relationships with her patients; and ensuring they feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Her unique interest in the aesthetics industry has afforded her the opportunity to help promote self-confidence and mental health in conjunction with physical well-being. At Hien Atkins Beauty Lounge and Med Spa she specializes in BioTE hormone replacement therapy. She performs in office procedure of pellet insertions to correct hormone imbalancesin men and women. Achieving optimal hormonelevels enhances their quality of life and overall health. Secondly, she offers consultations for weight loss injectables, giving patients effective solutions to achieve their health and fitness goals. Jasmine is passionate about integrating aesthetic principles into healthcare while ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. Her skillset within the company continues to grow and she hopes to offer more services to aid your overall wellbeing.
RN LANCE ENGLEBERT
RN - IV SPECIALIST
Lance is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and graduated from Holt High School. After graduation, at 17, Lance enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he would spend the next 24 years of his life as a Security Police/Forces member. Lance has lived or been assigned to bases in Texas, New Jersey, California, Turkey, Montana, Alabama, Japan, Ohio, Florida, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Afghanistan, Jordan, Oman, and Germany. While serving in the Air Force, Lance graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Management from Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio, Texas, and attended several enlisted/officer leadership schools. At his 12.5-year mark, Lance would be selected for Officer Training School and serve his last 12 years as an officer. Lance is a combat veteran, 2-time commander, a 2-time recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, and an Army Combat Action Badge recipient, along with countless other awards, decorations, and medals.
Lance is also a former certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Level 1 Contracting Specialist, and a licensed real estate agent in Florida.
Lance's love for helping and serving others significantly contributed to his attending nursing school. Lance graduated from Rasmussen University in Odessa, Florida, where he received an Associate's Degree in Nursing. After nursing school and passing the NCLEX, Lance obtained a job at Druid City Hospital in the Emergency Department, where he worked as a Registered Nurse. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
His passion for wellness, fitness, and longevity of life has led him to our business, and we are grateful for his arrival. Lance will be our IV Infusion Specialist, teaching and delivering the benefits of regular IV infusions to our clientele.

Bregan E. Grigg, born in Augusta, GA, and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, by her parents alongside three older brothers. In 2020 she made the move to begin her studies at The University of Alabama. Always interested in the Fashion and Beauty industry prompted Bregan to join Hien Atkins Beauty lounge & Med Spa in April 2024. With her positive attitude and bright smile, Bregan establishes a welcoming environment for clients at the spa. Beyond her professional life, Bregan prioritizes friendships, caring for her dog Billy, and trips to Lake Charlevoix, where she has mastered surfing behind the family boat.

Rachel coleman from Tuscaloosa,Al. Graduated from Shelton State Community College. Before becoming a lash artist I studied at Jacksonville State University. I have been certified in classic and volume eyelash extensions for over five years. I have three certifications in classic and volume . Eyelash extensions are a luxury experience and I enjoy making each client feel beautiful inside and out. Being a lash artist allows me to express my creativity. I am enthusiastic to continue learning new skills and grow as a beauty professional. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and practicing yoga.

Creative and passionate about her craft, Maranda has been able to establish herself as a successful hairstylist for twenty-two years. She has traveled to draw her inspiration and innate creativity from LA’s hip vibe to New York’s effortlessly chic style. She has completed multiple trainings with John Paul Mitchell educators such as Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski and Angus Mitchell. She also enjoyed training with Redken’s Sam Villa, Keratin Complex and Hot Heads Extensions. Maranda has extensive training in balayage, dimensional foiling, root melts, hand tied extensions and other current trends. Dedicated to offering her clients the best salon treatment and products, Maranda offers the entire line of Moroccan Oil retail therapy. Her focus on customer experience consistently results in thoughtfully flattering color/cuts perfectly tailored to each and every one of her guests.
Maranda’s artistic reach has expanded well beyond the salon to the lash and brow industry. On a path to ensure the most prestigious training and pursue her new passion as a brow/lash technician, she was led to Academy S by Sviatoslav Otchenash. She trained under craft master and Academy S educator, Hien Atkins in basic microblading and master techniques. Her permanent make-up training has enabled her to enhance women’s brows with techniques such as microblading and magic shading techniques. Hien Atkins’ lash extension education also provided her with the ability and the newest methods of eyelash extension application. Extensions allow clients flattering lashes to enhance their natural appearance.
